Disgraced Stella Oduah Heads Anambra Airport Project
Latest Headlines, News Monday, December 29th, 2014Ignatius Okpara, Awka – The Anambra state government has appointed former Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, to head its airport development Agency project.
Stella Oduah was sacked on Feb 12, 2014 as minister of aviation following allegations of fradulent bullet proof car purchase.
Briefing newsmen Sunday in Awka, Governor Willie Obiano, explained that Oduah,s choice was based on her wealth of experience and track record in Nigeria’s Aviation industry.
The Governor disclosed his administration was committed to putting in place a modern airport in the state.
Governor Obiano of the All progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) reiterated his administration’s determination in making the state an investment hob in the South Eastern geo – political zone of Nigeria.
He said he has no doubt in his mind that the ex- Minister would live up to expectation in the onerous assignment given to her.
On agriculture, Obiano, hinted that his administration had distributed high-yielding seedlings to farmers and encouraged the formation of co-operative societies for easy access to farm inputs and credit facilities.
He added the Anambra Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, had since facilitated many investments to the State.
