Disabled Persons Protest Suit Against TB Joshua
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Tuesday, September 8th, 2015By Ayo Balogun – Some physically challenged members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations on Tuesday embarked on a peaceful protest to the Lagos Governor’s office in Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria pleading with the Lagos State government to withdraw the suit against the Church and its founder, Pastor Temitope.Balogun ((TB) Joshua.
The state government had instituted a case at an Ikeja High Court against the Synagogue church following the building that collapsed within the premises last year killing over hundred people.
The physically challenged members of the Church who carried various placards appealed to both Nigerians and South Africans who lost relatives in the incident and prayed God to forgive their souls.
They also appealed to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to tamper Justice with mercy on the matter.
Our correspondent reports that a building under construction within the Synagogue Church of All Nation in Ikotun Egbe area of the state collapsed killing mostly religious tourists from South Africa and few Nigerians on September 12th, 2014.
