Decomposed body of Kidnapped Ex- Super Eagles Dad Found in Bush

The decomposed body of 80-year-old Chief James Iloenyosi of Abagana in Anambra State, and father of Ex-super Eagles player, Chikelue Iloenyosi who was recently kidnapped by unknown gunmen was on Friday found in a bush by the Police.
African Examiner recalled that the former- Super Eagles player, Chikelue Iloenyosi played professional football in France and Turkey before hanging his booth.
Speaking with newsmen in Awka Friday on the ugly incident, the state commissioner of police, Usman Gwary, said “we are not going to say much on the details of this operation because we have not finished the investigation in order not to jeopardize what we are doing.”
“We still have a lot of people to pick up concerning the kidnap of the man but right now, we have arrested four persons to that effect, thank you” Gwary told reporters
Our Correspondent gathered that the family was already planning celebration of a Birthday bash for 28th November 2013, before the hoodlums stormed his house on the 25th November and whisked him away.
The family was made to part with 1.5 million naira as ransom by his abductors, which they declared insufficient before they killed the old man.
One of the daughters of the deceased and popular politician, Hajia Chinyere Oguguo-Agagbo among other family members, wept uncontrollably when de decomposed remains of the father was found in the bush somewhere in Anambra.
Two of the kidnap suspects, who were shielded from reporters by Security Operatives in order not to derail investigations confessed to have kidnapped the man in November 25, 2015.
But despite police warning to reporters to steer clear at the moment, so as not to jeopardise their investigation, the anxious newsmen, were able to speak with one of the suspects (names withheld) who admitted that when they collected the initial 1.5 million naira, they had told the family to bring more money, which they did not, saying “we never knew he will die in our custody”.
According to the suspect, when he gave up the ghost, they took the corpse to a bush at Nneyi village Umueri community where they dumped it. Meanwhile, remains of late Pa James Iloenyosi was recognized by the Police and family members because of the cloth and cap he was putting on before he was kidnapped.
