#DasukiGate: Metuh Knows Fate Today On Bail Application
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Tuesday, January 19th, 2016A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja is presently hearing the bail application filed by the embattled National Publicity Secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh who is being arrainged for money laundering to the tune of N400 Milion by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Metuh who arrived the court premises handcuffed, amid tight security with the prison officials, has been arrested over two weeks ago, by the officials of the EFCC has since been under investigation over the alleged fraud.
The sum he was implicated, was part of the $2.1 Billion for arms procurement, to fight Boko Haram insurgents, was received from the former National Security Adviser (NSA) Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
The opposition Spokesman failed in making headway in his bail application, last Friday, when he first appeared before the court, as Justice Abang Okon ruled that he be remanded in Kuje prison till today (Tuesday) for the determination of the application.
