Current Raging Onslaught Against Insurgents Encouraging But Political -Saraki
Featured, Latest Headlines, Nigeria 2015 Election Saturday, February 21st, 2015The immediate former Kwara State Governor and a serving Senator, Bukola Saraki, has declared that the raging fierce war to rout dreaded Boko Haram insurgents is belated and political.
In a tweet from London Saturday Morning, Senator Saraki said “I strongly believe the BH issue was politicized. Now that election is by corner, the war is become serious, the political will arrived.”
Senator Saraki who accompanied the Nigerian leading opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rted) to London on a working visit, with Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosu, also indicated in a tweet; “Operation by military conquering terrorist in North East is encouraging. Always knew they were capable, what was missing was POLITICAL WILL from GEJ” (President Goodluck Jonathan).
Senator Saraki in another tweet Saturday afternoon confirmed their meeting with the former British Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Blair.
He indicated: “Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Gen Buhari and I paid a courtesy visit to Tony Blair this morning”.
Similarly, Gen Buhari in his tweeter handle confirmed in a tweet: “Just finished a meeting with @Govsia @ThisIsBuhari and @tonyblairoffice.”
This development failed to align with a ruling PDP Governor’s claims, Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, who alleged Friday that Gen Buhari travelled to United Kingdom (UK) for a medical treatment in a hospital at Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London.
