Still counting its losses to the last weekend security operatives invasion and ransacking of its Lagos data office, the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), has secured two court orders unsealing of its office and restriction to men of DSS on further similar action.
In a suit with respect to enforcement of fundamental human rights filed by its Counsel, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Justice Mohammed Nasir Yenusa of the Federal High Court in Lagos Wednesday, ordered the DSS to unseal the APC office warehouse forthwith.
The jurist gave an immediate order against the respondent, restraining it from further sealing off the office or taking further steps in connection with the plaintiff’s property.
The court also ruled that the party’s data entry staff (five) being held by the DSS, be produced in court this Friday to explain to the court why they were still being held by the respondent.
Justice Yenusa however declined ruling on whether the seized equipment, server, computer from the Ikeja APC Data center be released or not.
