Corruption: EFCC Arrests Ex-Imo Governor, Ohakim
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Thursday, June 18th, 2015By Ganiyu Nasirudeen – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim.
Ohakim was quizzed Thursday morning in his Asokoro residence, Abuja.
The former Governor who has been roped into multiple cases of corruption, during his tenure (between 2007and 2011) was summoned by the anti-graft agency to appear in its FCT office to respond to some questions Wednesday, but shunned the invitation.
His arrest at the EFCC office has since been confirmed by the agency’s Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren.
