Buhari’s Wife Donates Drugs Worth N135 Million In Adamawa
Latest Headlines, News, Nigeria 2015 Election Wednesday, February 11th, 2015Agabus Pwanagba, Jos – The wife of the Presidential flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, Hajiya Aisha Buhari has presented drugs worth over N135 million to Internally Displaced Persons in Adamawa State.
Presenting the drugs, the wife of the presidential hopeful said, “I’m deeply touch with the plight of our people, we can not pretend not to see the situation you people are into.
“We are not here for politics or for religion but because we’re really touched by the condition you found yourselves.
Mrs, Buhari noted that with the opportunity of change coming our way we should embrace and appreciate it and make use of the change.
Receiving the items on behalf of other IDPS , Mr Mahmud Goni thanked the wife of the former Head of State for the kind gesture promising that the drugs will be distributed to all affected persons.
Mrs. Buhari was accompanied to the camps by wives of APC serving governors, senators, and some party chieftains in the State.
In his remarks, the Executive Secretary Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Huruna Furo said the authority is doing every thing possible to ensure that the IDPs are well taken care of
Furo commended the wife of the APC presidential candidate and called on other well meaning Nigerians to emulate her.
