Buhari Under Fire As No Ministerial List before Senate

Against the high expectation of Nigerians, the Senate on Wednesday failed to read President Mohammadu Buhari’s letter on ministerial nominees.
It was not certain as at the press time whether or not Buhari has forwarded the list even as the whole country awaits today the September 30 deadline which the president promised that his cabinet will be ready.
Welcoming senators in his address on Tuesday, Saraki said that the Senate was awaiting Buhari’s letter on ministerial nominees list.
The President on his part had while on official visit to Ghana recently, indicated that the ministerial lists would be ready before the end of September.
The Senate has adjourned plenary till Tuesday, October 6, 2015 because of the October 1st public holiday.
Cross section of Nigerians who spoke to African Examiner after the senate adjourned plenary without announcing the ministerial lists, expressed mixed reactions saying is either President Buhari failed to keep his words or the senate deliberate decided not to make the list public.
Also Nigerians on social media have been criticising the President which they believe failed to keep his words as no ministerial list was announced today at the floor of the senate.
