Buhari To Join Other Leaders For Re-Elected Chadian President Inauguration
Africa, Featured, Latest Headlines Monday, August 8th, 2016ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to leave Nigeria Monday for N’Djamena to join other Heads of State and Government for the inauguration of the re-elected President Idriss Deby of Chad.
In a statement issued Sunday by his SA on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, President Buhari will be accompanied on the one-day trip by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his Borno Counterpart, Kashim Shettima.
The President’s delegation will also include Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama; the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd); Senator Baba Kaka Garba and Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno.
President Buhari is billed to return to Abuja after the inauguration.
It would be recalled President Deby won the Presidential election in his country in April 2016.
