Buhari Suspends Nigeria Immigration Boss, Parradang
Featured, Latest Headlines Friday, August 21st, 2015Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the comptroller general of Nigeria Immigration Service, David Parradang.
Reports says Mr. Parradang was told to immediately proceed on suspension Friday.
African examiner gathered that the deputy comptroller general, Martin Abeshi, has been ordered to take over from the suspended immigration boss.
No reason was given for the suspension.
Recall that this week that Nigerian government was embarrassed when a wanted terrorist leader was given Nigeria visa in Lebanon to visit Nigeria.
Also, Mr Parradang last year involved in an immigration recruitment tragedy whereby about 16 applicants were killed and many injured at a recruitment center at the national stadium, Abuja and around the country.
