Buhari Sacks 17 Permanent Secretaries Ahead of Ministers’ Inauguration

Indications have emerged on Tuesday that President Muhammadu Buhari may have sacked about 17 Permanent Secretaries with immediate effect.
This is coming ahead of the swearing in of the new ministers.
The sack, AFRICAN EXAMINER gathered, was allegedly announced at a meeting between President Buhari and the permanent secretaries.
Reason for the massive sack, which is few hours to the inauguration of the new Federal Executive Council (FEC), slated for Wednesday, is yet to be verified as at the time of filling this report.
The meeting which resolved the sack was also attended by the Chief of Staff to Mr. President, Mr. Abba Kyari and Head of Federal Civil Service (HOS), Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
