Buhari Reacts To Wife’s Outburst; Declares She Belongs To His Kitchen

BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to his wife, Aisha’s lamentation that his government has been hijacked by few people, affirming that he has an edge over his wife.
Speaking Friday alongside his host – German Chancellor Angela Merkel at a news conference, President Buhari laughed and replied sarcastically.
“I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room,” he said.
President Buhari’s declared that having run for Presidency three times and having succeeded the fourth, he could “claim superior knowledge’’ over his wife.
It would be recalled Mrs. Buhari has lamented during an interview session with BBC Hausa service that her husband did not know 45 out of 50 of the people he appointed.
She lamented further that, she also lacked the knowledge of the gladiators despite being his wife for 27 years.
Consequently, Mrs. Buhari has declared that she might not lend her support to the President if he seeks re-election in 2019.
