Buhari on 2 Day Visit to Edo, as Oshimhole Hands Over Saturday
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Monday, November 7th, 2016EDO, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – President Muhammadu Buhari is commencing a two-day working visit to the Edo State, south south Nigeria.
During his visit, the President will pay courtesy visit to the newly installed Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II in his palace.
Mr. President’s visit will also witness the commissioning of some new projects, among which is the new central hospital, Siloko road; 2nd East Circular road on Monday.
Also on Tuesday, President Buhari is expected to inaugurate the new Edo University, Iyamoh, in Edo North and Central Senatorial Districts of the state.
Following the visit, security has been beefed up in and around Benin, the Edo State capital.
The outgoing Edo State Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, is handing over to his successor Mr. Godwin Obaseki, this Saturday, November 12, 2016.
