Buhari Approves Ekere as MD NDDC, Ndoma-Egba as Chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated a former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Nsima Ekere as Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Also nominated is the former senate leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba as the Chairman of the NDDC board. Senator Egba is from Cross Rivers state.

Our correspondent reports that Mr Ekere if confirmed by the senate Ekere will replace the Acting Managing Director Mrs Ibim Semenitari who was appointed last year to act pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director.
