BREAKING: Twitter Permanently Suspends Donald Trump’s Account

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Twitter says it has permanently suspended President Donald Trump’s account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.

Twitter’s action comes after a mob stormed the US Capitol on Wednesday, temporarily halting the certification of Joe Biden as the next US president, an attack that left 5 people dead, including a capitol police officer.

Recall that Facebook and Instagram had taken similar action against Mr Trump following posts that social media company said incited violence against the US government.
