Mallam El-Rufai Loses Son in Abuja Auto Crash
Featured, Latest Headlines Tuesday, July 29th, 2014The household of Former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasiru el –Rufai, was thrown into sad mood early Tuesday morning as he lost a son, Hamazat in an auto crash in Abuja.
The ex – Minister posted the announcement on the crash and death this morning on his facebook. He admonished as a Muslim: “From Allah we came and to Him we shall return”.
El – Rufai therefore enjoined fellow faithful and family to pray for the repose of the soul of late Hamzat who was a graduate of University of Virgina and United World College of the Atlantic.
The latest development will be the second as El–Rufai lost his eldest daughter, Yasmine late 2011 on account of neurological related ailment in London, United Kingdom.
Amosun Commiserates With El-Rufai Over Son’s Death
Meanwhile, Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has expressed deep shock and heartfelt condolences to the family of the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on the death of his son, Hamzat El-Rufai.
In a press release signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mrs Olufunmilayo Wakama, Senator Amosun described the demise of young Hamzat, a graduate of University of Virginia and United World College of the Atlantic, who died in an auto crash in Abuja, as “most regrettable and unfortunate.
“It is so sad that his life was cut short in a fatal accident at a time he would have been contributing his quota to the development of his father land after acquiring a good education”, he added.
