Some gunmen have invaded the Koton-Karfi Prisons in Kogi State, North Central Nigeria and set free not less than 144 inmates.
AFRICAN EXAMINER learnt that an unfortunate inmate was killed while the commotion lasted Monday morning.
Meanwhile, The Comptroller of the prisons has confirmed the invasion.
