BREAKING: FG Removes Subsidy, Fuel New Price, N145 Per Litre

ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – At last and after lingering controversies, Nigerian Government has removed subsidy on the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also refrred to as petrol.
This is made public Wednesday after a crucial meeting held at the Abuja headquarters of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Consequently, petrol according to officials, who attended the meeting, will now begin to be sold for N145 per litre.
They explained that the Government is now ready to open the market and allow the market forces to determine the pump price.
