Breaking: Female Suicide Bomber Attacks Federal College of Education In Niger State

Another explosion by a female suicide bomber has occurred in the Federal College of Education, Kontagora, Niger State, North Central Nigeria.
According to the State’s Police Command Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Gambari, the explosion took place as the bomber made it to the school premises, leading to her death, while about three others were confirmed to have suffered serious injuries.
AFRICAN EXAMINER learnt from a source in the town that State Police bomb unit officers have been sent to the school for on the spot assessment of the eruption.
The casualties, it was also gathered might be more as it was suspected some might have been trapped in the blast according to eyewitnesses accounts.
The latest explosion is the second in the current week in the renewed insurgency, as a Senior Secondary school in Potiskum, Yobe State was attacked by the bomber Monday morning. Over 50 students were killed, while about 76 were seriously injured.
