Explosion Rocks Abuja Shopping Complex

The Area One Shopping Plaza in Abuja is up in flames after what people in the neighbourhood described as bomb exlosion.
The incident which occurred at about 5.15 pm on Thursday has attracted the attention of fire fighters, police and men from bomb disposal unit of the police who are now fighting to rescue lives.
The extent of damage at the shopping Mall was yet to be ascertained as at press time, as the explosion had caused traders and people in the neighbourhood to flee the area.
Eye witnesses said they heard what sounded like bomb explosions more than two times, stating that they were too afraid to move near the shopping mall to detect what indeed happened.
