BREAKING: Buhari Departs to UK for 10-day Private Visit

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – President Muhammadu Buhari is billed to travel later today (Thursday) to the United Kingdom on a private visit.
The visit according to his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina in a statement issued in Abuja Thursday, the President is scheduled to leave the country after his visit to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
“The Borno’s visit is in furtherance to the official visit by the President to Lagos Wednesday, where he commissioned a number of projects executed by the State Government.
“As he did in Lagos, President Buhari is expected to commission developmental projects especially in the sectors of education, health care and roads.”
The statement confirmed that President Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria Sunday, May 5, 2019.
