BREAKING: Another Bomb Blast Hits Kano Textile Market
Featured, Latest Headlines Wednesday, December 10th, 2014From Ganiyu Nasirudeen, Kano – Another bomb blast has been reported in a market in the ancient city of Kano, North Western Nigeria.
Security in the state confirmed the blast and specified the eruption took place Wednesday afternoon in the commercial premises called Kanti-Kwari textile market.
Reports said the Military has arrived the scene and sealed off the place. Seven persons were injured and they have been conveyed by the rescue workers to the hospital.
It would be recalled some suicide bombers stormed the city Central mosque about two Fridays ago, while the worshipers were about to observe the weekly congregational prayer. About 200 Muslim faithful were feared killed in the unfortunate blast.
