Bomb Blast Hits Adamawa Market, 67 Persons Injured

Maiduguri (Nigeria (African Examiner) – Madagali market, in Adamawa State, North East Nigeria, was on Friday thrown into tension and panic, following a bomb blast by suspected members of the Boko Haram insurgent.
A total of 67 persons were injured by the blast, just as the number of deaths is yet to be ascertained.
The Head Media and Public Relations of the National Emergency management Agency NEMA, Sani Datti, disclosed this to African Examiner in Enugu.
He said: “There was a reported incidence of bomb blast in Madagali market, Adamawa State at around 11:00am today.
“Victims were evacuated to Michika General Hospital, 67 persons were injured while the number of dead are yet to be confirmed.
According to Dati, “updates will come later, on my way to Maiduguri.
