Boko Haram have continued their onslaught in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State, raiding more border villages in the area.
Narrating their ordeal, a resident of Garta village raided by the sect members who identified himself as Tizhe said insurgents arrived his village around 6 pm raiding homes and shops.
“They burnt most of the shops and houses after looting them. Most people have to climb the nearby mountains to save themselves.
“For now I can’t say the number of casualty as we are still in the bush and we learnt that the attackers just left the village this morning.
Also attacked was Kuburshosho village, where the family house of former Governor of the State and Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Boni Haruna, was burnt.
African Examiner also gathered that the insurgents attempted entering Kamale village but could not make it due to a river in which they have to cross.
The river is now heavily flooded due to the recent downpour.
