Boko Haram Insurgency Would Not Lead To Nigeria Division

Emir of Shonga, Dr Haliru Ndanusa Yaya (OON) has expressed optimism that Boko haram insurgency can not lead to Nigeria division because Nigerians love their country.
Dr Haliru Yaya made this call in his address as the guest speaker at the just concluded 33rd National Conference of Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) held in Ilorin.
Speaking on insecurity in the nation, Emir of Shonga said Nigerians must stop the blame game and address the security challenges.
Dr Haliru Yaya, the team leader, Northern State Governors Forum Committee on Reconciliation, Healing and Security stated that critical examination of Boko haram activities shows that the sect is against Nigeria as a whole, noting that the fight is not against any religion.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria will continue to remain as one strong nation. “Boko haram can not bring division to this country. Nigeria will continue to stay as one because we love our country.” He exclaimed
The Emir also called for sanction of any Pharmacist guilt of prescribing wrong drugs for patients by the professional body.
He advised pharmacists and other health workers to be more professional in their chosen field, adding that doctor and other health workers should not embark on industrial strike due to sensitive of their job.
“Doctor and other health workers are not suppose to go on strike. We are working for the patient. Imagine if doctor embark on strike and patient lost their life during the industrial action. How do we restore the life?
“During my tenure as National Medical Association (NMA) Chairman in Kaduna state, I insisted that their would be no strike and everybody agreed” He added
Shonga is a Nupe community in Edu local government in Kwara state.
