Birthday: Fayose Advises Well Wishers To Donate Congratulatory Advert Money to Less Privileged

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayo Fayose, has expressed gratitude to well wishers and those who felicitated with him during the celebration of his 54th birthday.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday, the governor, while appreciating civil servants, contractors and public institutions that placed advertisements in national dailies and other media to felicitate with him, however advised that such funds could be channeled to various welfare homes for the upkeep of the inmates.

The governor added that for the public institutions, he would not want a situation whereby some people would think they were misusing public funds.

He therefore advised that‎ in the future he would prefer money for such congratulatory adverts to be channeled to welfare homes.
