Bauchi Lawmaker Sponsors 572 Youths on Skill Acquisition

The Minority leader and member representing Azare Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Baba Suleiman said he has sponsored the training of 572 youths from his constituency for various skill acquisition in order to become self reliant.
The Lawmaker disclosed this on Monday in Bauchi while sponsoring 50 youths from his constituency to join their counterparts of 522 students who graduated in various skills, at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity skill upgrading centre situated along yelwa road, Bauchi.
He called on wealthy individuals, politicians and other philanthropists to assist the teaming unemployed youths to become self reliant in the society.
The lawmaker said this is the second time during his tenure in the house that he has sponsored almost one hundred youths mainly from Azare Constituency at the labour training centre in order to help them become useful members of the society and to protect them from continue roaming on the streets or begging politicians money to go and buy drugs.
Hon. Sulaiman appealed to the graduands to make the best use of the skills they acquired in training one or more members of the society to help them reduce the abject poverty bedeviling the lives of teaming unemployed youths in the country.
The Minority Leader called on the state government and other relevant organizations in the state to assist the skills training centre Bauchi to enable it increase the number of its admission for an improved learning condition of the school.
