Arms: Dasuki, Bafarawa, Son Arraign In Court Over 24 Count Charge

Again, the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki; former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Sagir have been arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering, diversion of funds and breach of trust.
The 24 count charge against Dasuki, Bafarawa and son is filed before Justice Adeniyi Ademola.
While Bafarawa was fingered to have received the sum of N4.6 Billion, out of the $2.1Billion arms money, on approval of the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan from Dasuki for spiritual purposes, Dasuki is indicted alongside three others, in other alleged money laundering, including the 19 count charge which was preferred against him by the EFCC.
