Armed Fulani Herdsmen Kill 21 People in Barkin Ladi Attack

Despite the little relative peace experienced in Plateau State, especially in the crisis ridden communities, a renewed attack in Kukek village; Foron District of Barkin Ladi Local Government of the State, left a family of 9 and 12 dead when gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen attacked their village.
It was gathered by African Examiner that Tsok Gwom and 8 other members of his family were killed.
A source told our correspondent that the incident occurred around 1:00am of Thursday morning (today), when gunmen attacked the family and rustle some cows, but the youths in the community pursued the, and in the process, 12 of the rustlers lost their lives and the cows were left behind.
The Interim Administrator of Barkin Ladi Local Government, Hon. Habila Dung, confirm to journalists that there was an attack in the village, but said he was on his way to the scene of the incident and that he has informed the security agents, so he cannot speak further.
