ALERT! Nigerian Army Exposes B’ Haram Terrorists’ Plot To Attack Lagos, Abuja, Imo, Katsina, Other States
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Wednesday, August 10th, 2016BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Plans by Boko Haram terrorists to carry out multiple and bloody attacks in some States of the Federation has been exposed by the Nigerian Army.
According to online news medium, Sahara reporters, the Nigerian Army in an intelligence document indicated that States listed for attack include: Lagos, Kano, Sokoto, Kebbi, Bauchi, Katsina, Imo, Yobe and Borno states as well as the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Abuja.
The document which the news medium stated was tagged (AHQ DATOPS/G3/240/225/3) and marked “Secret”, revealed that target places include markets, schools, police stations and formations, prison facilities as well as the just re-opened schools in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States.
The document which was signed by Colonel B. Suleiman on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, was dated 5th August 2016 and distributed to the headquarters of 1 and 2 Division of the Army, confirmed that the Army Headquarters is in possession of the information which strongly points to a wave of Boko Haram attacks in the aforementioned locations and other parts of the country.
“The targeted areas include, but not limited to police stations, prison facilities, schools, and market places. Details show that the terrorist group intends to target police stations/formations in Abuja, Kano, Kebbi and Sokoto states, while prison facilities will be attacked in Adamawa State,” the document confirmed.
The document also informed that Boko Haram terrorists have already sent foot soldiers to prepare for attacks on marketplaces in Bauchi, Katsina and Imo states. It also listed schools, which are currently being re-opened in Borno and Yobe states as places where the terrorists intend to cause large-scale destruction.
“In view of the above, I am directed to inform you of the imminent threat and respectfully request that you take all necessary proactive measures to prevent BHTs (Boko Haram Terrorists) from carrying out these heinous acts. Please, treat as very urgent and acknowledge,” the document stated.
