Adamawa Guber: Ribadu, Marwa, Other Aspirants Submit Nomination Forms

Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) and one of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirants in forthcoming governorship bye-election in Adamawa State, Mallam Nuhu Ribabu has promised to serve his people in any capacity – even as a sweeper.
Mallam Ribabu made this disclosure while fielding questions from journalists in Abuja at PDP secretariat after submission of his nomination form.
“My decision to run governorship in Adamawa State is to serve my people. I have being in public service for 25 years. It’s all about the people and not for selfish interest.
“You will recall that I served in the current administration when I was in opposition party. I am ready to serve in any capacity, even as a sweeper because I love serving the people. Adamawa State would never remain the same if am given the mandate”
He expressed optimism that the party leadership would grant him waiver and eventually emerge as PDP flagbearer in October 11 election.
African examiner Correspondent saw other aspirants including the Acting state Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, Former Military Administrator of Lagos state, Buba Marwa, the son of former PDP National Chairman, Bamagar Tukur and two others at the the Wadata House National secretariat of the party with their supporters to submit their nomination forms.
The aspirants in separate chat with newsmen urged the party leadership to provide level playing ground in the primary election.
