Adamawa Guber: PDP Group Endorses Ribadu’s Candidature

A body – Solid Political Group of Nigeria (SPGN) has thrown its weight behind the former EFCC Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, in his bid to contest October 11, Adamawa governorship election.
SPGN in a press statement signed by its Leader, Chief Medan Teneke and made available to African Examiner described the Ribadu’s entry into the race as divine.
“Ribadu will provide the much needed sense of direction lacking in the State. He’s brilliant, passionate, humble, accommodating and his career records tower over everyone eyeing the seat” stated the statement.
Teneke who was a Commissioner in the administration former Governor Muritala Nyako’s administration, maintained that, the group was supporting ex anti-graft body head, following its conviction that he “clearly understands the mood on ground, challenges and expectations and will hit the ground running by providing the people efficient leadership and direction needed to re-position the State…”
The leader of the group who is also the Adamawa Zonal Chairman of PDP, assured that his group would deliver the Zone for the ruling party.
“The State is in dire need of a stabilizing agent and having followed Ribadu’s career trajectory, we have no doubt whatsoever that he will play that role in the State”, the group emphasized.
The group stated it knew when an ambition was driven by desire for selfless service, asserting that Ribadu was driven by the passion for selfless service.
It would be recalled Teneke was the leader of the factional PDP that worked towards the impeachment of former Governor Nyako.
