Abuja Bombing: Chime Commiserates With Victims’ Families
Latest Headlines, News From The State Tuesday, April 15th, 2014Enugu state Governor Sullivan Chime, has commiserated with the families of victims of last Monday‘s bombing in Nyanya, Abuja that claimed scores of human lives.
At least, 71 people were confirmed dead in the barbaric act, while many others sustained various degrees of injuries.
Chime in a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Chukwudi Achife, made Available to African Examiner, on Tuesday in Enugu expressed profound shock and regrets over the ugly incident describing it as “dastardly and incomprehensible”.
The Governor, also conveyed his sympathies to those who sustained injuries in the incident wishing them speedy healing and recovery.
He urged Nigerians to continue to pray against terrorism, its perpetrators, and sponsors.
The Governor however, charged the citizens to continue to lend their maximum support to the
government and all relevant agencies in their efforts at tackling the insecurity challenges in the country.
