The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s Kogi state governorship election, Abubakar Audu is dead.
Reports say that the politician died early today (Sunday) while INEC was collating the results of the Saturday’s governorship election.
It was gathered that the APC candidate suddenly took ill and passed away.
Audu is projected to win the Kogi governorship election. Though, the election was declared inconclusive but he is expected to win the supplementary election.
