ABOMINATION: Edo Man Rapes His 9-Year-Old Daughter

IGNATIUS OKPARA, Benin-city – A 45-year-old man, identified as Osaro, is now cooling-off in police net in Benin city, the Edo state capital for allegedly raping his nine year old daughter.

He was arrested on Wednesday by operatives from Ogida Police Division in Egor council Area of Edo State.

African Examiner Correspondent gathered that the girl’s mother told the security operatives that ‎her husband had pushed her out of their apartment at about 8pm on Christmas Day and locked her two daughters inside the room, after a misunderstanding before defiling one of them.

According to the woman, “my nine-year-old daughter, told me the next day that her father had canal knowledge of her” after locking (the mother) outside their room.

The woman also disclosed that the 45-year-old suspect had threatened to kill her when she tried to physically examine her daughter.

Hear the woman: “On Christmas Day, he drove me outside at about 8pm‎ and was alone inside with the children.

“The next day, my daughter told me what he did to her. When I wanted to examine my daughter, he beat me up but neighbors intervened,”

‎Edo state Police Public Relations Officer ‎PPRO, Joseph Edoigiawerie, who confirmed the arrest of the rapist father, said the police has commenced full investigation into the case.
