Abduction: Emir Sanusi Orders Return Of Ese Oruru To Bayelsa

The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II has ordered the repatriation to her place, of the 14 year old girl, Ese Oruru, allegedly abducted by one Yinusa (also called Yellow) of Kura local government area of Kano State.
Teen Oruru was taken away by Yinusa, a tricycle operator, on August 12, 2015, from her mother’s shop in Opolo Yenagoa Local Government area of Bayelsa State.
The Monarch in his directive Monday ordered the State’s Sharia Commission to liaise with office of the Assistant Inspector General of police, zone 1 to commence process of returning the young Oruru back to her native land.
Emir Sanusi in his reaction distanced himself and the Kano Emirate Council from the alleged abduction of Oruru by the suspected abductor – alleged lover.
“I have ordered the sharia commission to liaise with the office of Deputy Inspector General of police zone to repatriate and reconcile the teenager with her family immediately”, Sanusi directed.
