32-year-old Man in Lagos docked for Robbery

A 32 year old man, Kingsely Jato was docked before Magistrate Dan-Oni at Ikeja Magistrate court on Friday for offences bothering on conspiracy to commit felony, attempted armed robbery, possession of dangerous weapons, Unlawful possession of Airforce uniform and identity card.
The suspect and others now at large committed the offences at about 11 am on the 25th September, 2013, at Magbon area of Badagry Lagos.
Police Prosecutor Edet Okio said the defendant committed the offences contrary to section 5 (b) and punishable under Section 1(2)(a) of the Robbery and firearm (special Provision) Act, Cap 398, Vol. XXII, Laws of the Federation 1990 as amended.
Magistrate Dan-Oni scheduled 14th December for Director of Public
prosecution’s advice on the case.
