3 Suspected Boko Haram Suicide Bombers Killed In Borno
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Friday, November 11th, 2016BORNO, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Three suspected Boko Haram female suicide bombers were intercepted and killed early Friday by troops, in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The suspects’ bodies it was learnt were full with explosive devices. But the troops on sighting and identifying them opened fire, after which a deafening explosive sound followed.
The incident has been confirmed by the Borno State Police Command. Its Spokesman, Mr. Victor Isuku, in a message explained: that three (3) female suicide bombers with IED strapped to their bodies were sighted by military patrol team in Umarari village, near Mulai towards Maiduguri.
He confirmed that the soldiers killed the suspects after identifying that they were suicide bombers.
