2023: Nigerians Blast Asari Dokubo For Condemning Wike’s Presidential Ambition

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The news that popular activist, Asari Dokubo, had condemned the presidential ambition of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike saying that the former minister of State for Education is not a presidential material.

African Examiner writes that Asari Dokubo, who appeared on Arise Television on Thursday stated that the presidential ambition of Governor Wike is laughable.

He said: “It’s laughable that Wike wants to be President. Look at him, does he look like a president? Will Nigerians want a president like that?

“He himself should know that it’s not possible, yes everybody is entitled to contest; it’s our PVCs and we are going to examine the person.

“Somebody who carried cutlass and was dancing will want to be President?”

This statement has sparked social media reactions as some Nigerians took to their social media accounts to lambast the activist saying that he has no right to condemn Wike.
