2017 AFCON: Super Eagles Set To Tackle Egypt In Decisive Match

The Nigerian team arrived Alexandria Monday evening, the venue of the decisive match today. Coach Samson Siasia has reiterated the reason why the second leg match is a must win for the country, to participate in the coming continental Football competition. The first leg match ended last Friday in 1-1 draw.
Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Permanent Secretary, Mr. Chinyeaka Christian Ohaa and NFF President, Amaju Pinnick led the delegation of 25 players and technical/backroom staff. The team is without the Super Eagles first choice Goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme. He was dropped on health ground.
Siasia has indicated that he would resort to back up goalkeepers – Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa for the match scheduled for Tuesday evening.
