2015 Election: PDP Leadership Sobers, Begs Obasanjo To Return
Featured, Latest Headlines, News, Politics Wednesday, October 8th, 2014The political intrigues ahead of 2015 general elections continue as the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in what could be described as a die minute effort to woe aggrieved members, has resulted to begging, seeking forgiveness of the former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
While formally receiving the former Ogun state Governor, Gbenga Daniel and others, back to the party Wednesday in Abuja, the PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, apologized to Obasanjo, saying the party stalwarts were seeking his forgiveness, as well as requesting him to lead it (PDP) to victory in coming general elections.
He emphasized the former Head of State needed to be begged as he was very prayerful.
Mu’ azu affirmed that the PDP members were Obasanjo’s followers therefore, pledged they were all “good boys and girls”.
