2015 Elections: PDP Adopts David Mark As Sole Candidate

The Benue state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has adopted Senate President, David Mark as its sole candidate for the state’s South Senatorial District in 2015 election.
The district Senatorial caucus made this known Sunday after a stakeholders’ meeting in Otukpo.
Minister of Interior, Aba Moro who read a communique informed that the party in the senatorial zone has adopted Mark as its sole candidate in recognition of his quality representation in the Senate.
He added the people of the zone were satisfied with his performance, therefore pledged to support and re-elect him.
Moro also stated that the Otukpo born politician was a partner in progress, noting that the stability in the Senate leadership has contributed immensely to achievements of President Jonathan’s transformation agenda.
The PDP caucus also insisted that the zone must produce the next Governor. Mark is currently serving fourth term in the country’s upper chamber.
