The National Chairman of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie Oyegun, has advocated for fairness on the right of the Nigerian eligible voters to elect candidates of their choice without intimidation and molestation in the 2015 general elections.
Oyegun made the call Saturday, while playing host to the United States (US) Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle at the Party secretariat in Abuja.
The Envoy while responding, called on the voters not to commercialize their voting right in the forth-coming elections.
African Examiner Correspondent reported that Entwistle’s visit to the opposition’s secretariat was part of American’s government campaign for credible elections Nigeria.
In the meantime, the country has affirmed it has not favoured any Presidential candidate for the coming poll slated for February 2015, adding that it would only pull her weight behind the Nigerian Masses on their yearning for free, fair and credible elections.
