United are waiting for AC Milan to give mid\ufb01elder De Jong the green light to \ufb02y to Manchester Sunday to complete a \u00a310million deal.<\/p>\n
The former champions are also close to \ufb01nalising the \u00a316m signing of versatile defender Blind from Ajax.<\/p>\n
United con\ufb01rmed on Saturday that a deal had been agreed with Ajax for Blind, subject to a medical and personal terms being agreed.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils have also been in talks with Juventus and Sporting Lisbon, respectively, about midfielders Arturo Vidal and William Carvalho – in case the De Jong deal stalls.<\/p>\n
However, more players, including midfielder Tom Cleverley, who is being linked with Aston Villa are on their ways out of Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
Shinji Kagawa could return to Borussia Dortmund for \u00a38m and striker Danny Welbeck is in demand with a host of clubs.<\/p>\n
There could also be United exit business involving striker Javier Hernandez, midfielders Anderson and Marouane Fellaini and goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.<\/p>\n
Not all these deals will be completed before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday.<\/p>\n
But United’s in-and-out transfer negotiations illustrate the extent of the revolution launched by new boss Louis van Gaal.<\/p>\n
