The kit, designed by Warrior Sports, hasn’t gone down well.<\/p>\n
The response from Liverpool fans has been on a par with the one that greeted the insane car Homer Simpson designed for his brother. Unlike “The Homer”, Liverpool’s new kit is probably not quite ugly enough to single handedly bankrupt the company that made it, but judging on the reaction from Liverpool fans online, it’s unlikely to be Warrior’s best-selling piece of merchandise this season.<\/p>\n
You might remember the eyesore that the American sportswear brand inflicted upon Premier League fans fans last year – an almost indescribable abomination that can best be described as resembling a printer malfunction.<\/p>\n
Liverpool fans weren’t happy then. They’re even less pleased now.<\/p>\n
While this typical stream of comments won’t have made pleasant reading for those behind the black kit.<\/p>\n
That’s not to say every fan was against the kit. Judging from this exchange, Justin Mingus regards Vincent Tan as a fashion pioneer while Adam Perkins wants to see heads roll for the travesty.<\/p>\n
Things didn’t get off to a good start on the club’s official forum. This was the first post announcing the new design. Simple, succinct and to the point.<\/p>\n
