I would like to have a more important role here. In fact, I would have liked to have more importance inside the team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I have not been given the chance. I hope next season will be better for me as well as for Man United.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ryan Giggs has paved the way for his retirement last by admitting he has waved goodbye to the Champions League after 21 years<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/the%20people\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 40-year-old Old Trafford legend is ready to call it a day, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>After 141 Champions League games \u2013 second only to Real Madrid\u2019s Raul in the all-time appearance list \u2013 Giggs virtually admitted his race is run with United and European football.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cWill you see me in the Champions League again? No, probably not. It\u2019s weird to think that, but I\u2019ve no complaints.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve won the competition twice and played in four finals. Champions League nights have always been special nights for me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s a special competition. You\u2019re up against the best.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You get some group games that can be a little easier but once you come through to the latter stages you\u2019re up against the big teams \u2013 and that\u2019s when you really test yourself and when you\u2019re really up for it.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Giggs still believes United can rescue their season.
