{"id":3427,"date":"2014-04-10T04:09:02","date_gmt":"2014-04-10T04:09:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/africanexaminer.com\/sports\/?p=3427"},"modified":"2014-04-10T04:56:52","modified_gmt":"2014-04-10T04:56:52","slug":"super-eagles-will-travel-one-hour-by-road-to-match-venues-nff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/africanexaminer.com\/sports\/football\/super-eagles-will-travel-one-hour-by-road-to-match-venues-nff\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8221;Super Eagles Will Travel One Hour By Road To Match Venues&#8221; NFF"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has described the choice of\u00a0Victoria Hotel Concept Campiness as Super Eagles camp during their group matches in Brazil this summer as the &#8221; the best&#8221; any country would wish for at the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>According to NFF General Secretary, Musa Amadu, the African champions would make an hour trip to each of their three match venues a day before every game.<\/p>\n<p>Amadu, who was reacting to criticism over the choice \u00a0of the hotel, situated outside of \u00a0Sao Polo noted that Victoria Hotel Concept was one of FIFA official hotels and approved by coach Stephen Keshi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe arrangement is that in any day the team will have a match, they will move a day before the match day, play the match and then return to their base. It is the same with all other countries participating in the World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrazil is a huge country and some of the travels you have to do them for more that two or three hours. But of course there is enough time for the team to move and there are chartered flights and FIFA has arranged everything with the airlines there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe hotel has already been booked and everything is ready. The Victoria Hotel Campiness was approved by the Super Eagles head coach himself. He has seen everything and he likes what he has seen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have discussed everything with the Nigerian Consular General in Brazil. So in terms of accommodation for the Super Eagles in Brazil, we must assure that everything is absolutely perfect.
