Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor has hailed Tottenham manager \u00a0Tim Sherwood, saying ”he’s a nice guy with a huge character.”<\/p>\n
The former Arsenal striker, who struggled through former manager Andre Villas-Boas’ days at Spurs said Sherwood showed confidence in him and that he would would continue to work for the team.<\/p>\n
Since Sherwood took over as Tottenham manager, Adebayor has become first choice at Spurs netting six goals in all competitions.<\/p>\n
“He has been there for me since day one and he just told me” Adebayor said.<\/p>\n
He said the manager told him how good and important he was to the squad and encouraged him to fight for his team mates.<\/p>\n
“If you fight for the team, the team will be behind you.”<\/p>\n
“At the moment, this is what is happening and I am very happy.”<\/p>\n
