South African Top Juniors do Battle in the Mother City

Cape Town, South Africa  – Tennis Western Province is hosting Slazenger Junior Classic from December 14th through 16th.  The tournament has attracted over 600 junior players from across the country.

The annual tourney is the Tennis Western Province’s premiere junior event  and is part of the national Key Health series, declaring it one of the most prestigious junior tennis events in the country.

The president of the Tennis Western Province, Zaida Beukes, said her association is ready to host a great event.

“We are excited at hosting another edition of the Slazenger Junior Classic. The tournament has proved to be a success in the past and together with our sponsors, Slazenger, we are looking to make this our flagship tournament of the year, ” said Beukes.

Boys and girls in the under 10, 12, 14, 16 and Open age categories, will compete at various tennis clubs throughout the Western Province.
